1. Who we are
AI Kaizen (aikaizen.in) is a maritime consultancy brand of Vraga Ventures (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit this website or contact us. You can reach us at info@aikaizen.in.
2. Information we collect
- Information you send us. When you email us or use the enquiry form on this website, you may give us your name, company, email address, fleet size and details of your enquiry. The form opens your own email app with the message ready to send, so the message travels through your email provider to our mailbox. The website itself does not store form submissions.
- Phone and WhatsApp. If you call us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive your phone number and the content of your message through those services, which have their own privacy terms.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting and caching services process basic technical data, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request, in server logs. We use this to keep the site secure and working well.
- Cookies. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website. Essential cookies may be set for site administrators who are logged in.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your enquiries and provide quotations.
- To provide, manage and invoice our services.
- To keep this website secure and working.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked to hear from us.
4. Third-party services
We use trusted providers to run this website and our business. They may process limited information on our behalf:
- Hosting and performance. Our website is hosted by Hostinger and uses caching and image-optimisation services (LiteSpeed and QUIC.cloud).
- Fonts. This website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google’s servers to retrieve them, so Google receives your IP address.
- Email. Enquiries are received and stored in our email service.
- Our software sites. Marine KPI, Wayfinder and Risk KPI are separate websites and platforms with their own privacy terms. Please read those before using them.
5. Legal basis
We process personal information to respond to business enquiries, to perform contracts and with your consent. Where laws such as the EU or UK GDPR apply, our legal bases are our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our consultancy, and performance of a contract. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we process personal data for the purpose for which you gave it to us and for other legitimate uses permitted by the Act.
6. Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate, with Vraga Ventures for contracting and invoicing, and where the law requires us to. We do not share it for their own marketing.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails and client records for as long as needed to respond, to deliver and invoice our services, and to meet legal and accounting requirements. After that we delete or anonymise them.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process information outside India or your country. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to protect it.
9. Your rights
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it, and you may withdraw consent you have given. You can also raise a grievance with us. Write to info@aikaizen.in and we will respond within a reasonable time. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. See our Data Security & Confidentiality page for how we handle client information.
11. Children
This website is for businesses and is not directed at children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
