Our approach

Ship managers trust us with records that matter: safety management documents, audit and inspection reports, bridge and VDR data, logbook and maintenance records, and incident files. We treat all of it as confidential and use it only for the work you have asked us to do.

What we ask for

We ask only for the information needed for an engagement. If something is not needed, please do not send it. We will tell you if we think we are being given more than the work requires.

How we protect it

• Need-to-know access. Client information is available only to the people working on your engagement.
• Secure transfer. At the start of an engagement we agree with you how files will be shared, and we use that route.
• Protected accounts and devices. We protect the accounts and devices used to handle client information with strong passwords and, where available, multi-factor authentication.
• Confidentiality agreements. We are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement before an engagement starts.

Retention and return

When an engagement ends, we return or delete your records on request, subject to any legal or contractual duty to keep them.

If something goes wrong

If we become aware of a security incident that affects your information, we will tell you promptly and work with you on the response.

This website

This website is served over a secure HTTPS connection. The enquiry form does not store submissions on the website: it opens your email app so the message goes from you to us by email. Please do not include sensitive operational data in a first enquiry. We will agree a secure way to share it.

Our software platforms

Marine KPI, Wayfinder and Risk KPI are separate platforms with their own hosting and access controls. If you need security details for a platform, ask us and we will provide them.
